Hotel Kaoba, Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic - Review

My initial frustration was this hotel did not have an address where the airline could deliver my lost baggage. Luckily the taxi driver knew where it was located. More inconveniences... The air conditioner was undersized for the room size and never gets cool enough. The hotel didn't accomodate my request to change rooms. The refrigerator did not work, Mosquitos are your roommates. The advertised internet connection in room does not exist and you must use a public internet at the hotel cafe.... with no air conditioning. No wakeup call service was available. The room safe did not work, and there has been two power outages so far today. Don't bother complaining, I was bitten by the owner's black and white dog as I passed by to complain again. Don't bother expecting an apology for the dog bite, the room condition or the service, I did not get an apology. Needless to say, I checked out immediately.
